Our NH Wedding Reception

On Saturday, September 24th, Ryan and I had our wedding reception at Fulchino Vineyard in Hollis, New Hampshire. It was a beautiful fall evening full of love, laughter, and lots of dancing.

Ryan and I really wanted our wedding reception to be a big party. Our goal was to spend quality time with our guests and to have a great time. Our catering came locally from the Alamo- classic BBQ. The wine was plenty and from the vineyard which was a fun touch (I highly recommend their cabernet.)

We loved using the outdoor patio at the vineyard for dinner. Ryan made the call on setting the tables up in a big U shape which made for a really nice dining experience. It was so fun looking out on everyone enjoying a meal together. It definitely got a little chilly in the evening but by that point, it was the perfect time to head inside.

We planned our first dance one week prior to the event. Overall, we probably rehearsed it five times. It was simple and sweet and very fun in the moment. Plus, the energy from our guests boosted our confidence.

My dad and my sister both roasted me in their speeches, but I haven’t laughed that hard in a long time. Ryan’s father gave a wonderful, heartfelt speech and Ryan’s best friend Jason reminded us all that on the morning after our wedding ceremony, Ryan brought Jason a cup of coffee- not me.

After our first dances and speeches, my bridesmaids joined me in the parking lot so I could change into what I called my “dancing dress.” I got to have a fun re-entrance and it was so nice to wear something shorter that was easier to move in. My hair went up in a ponytail and I felt ready to dance the night away.

It was a night to remember. Going through the photos, I’m overwhelmed by the joy and love. You can see it in our smiles. Absolutely one of the best nights of our lives.
