One of my goals for 2020 is to read more. What better way than to commit to reading one book a week? 52 books in 52 weeks and I’ll be sharing every single one on the blog, every Sunday. Check in for my latest reads and recommendations.

“Conversations With Friends” was a very interesting story. The characters were intricate and detailed and I never felt like I could necessarily predict the plot which is often times, refreshing. However, it didn’t quite grip me the way I wanted it to. Put simply, it’s a story about a twenty-something’s affair with a married man and subsequently, her relationship with his wife and her best friend because of it.
The structure of the novel was unusual enough that it peaked my interest and the writing was intelligent. However, it just didn’t do it for me. I made it to the end, but still- meh. I read a review where someone called the book “grumpy” and I felt that sort or summed it up perfectly.
