Book 29: The Guest List

One of my goals for 2020 is to read more. What better way than to commit to reading one book a week? 52 books in 52 weeks and I’ll be sharing every single one on the blog, every Sunday. Check in for my latest reads and recommendations.

EVERYTHING COMES FULL CIRCLE! And I need to write one of these. I am so good at catching on to the twists before they’re revealed.

I wrote the note above just before I finished “The Guest List.” It is hands down one of the best books I’ve read this year! Engaging, with twists and turns on every page. I love the way that Lucy Foley wove all the different characters’ lives together in such a seamless way.

“The Guest List” is a story of a wedding gone wrong. The setting- a spooky island in Ireland, creates the perfect tone for the plot and the perfect place for everything to unfold.

I could not put this one down. A thriller full of heart and intrigue and humanity. You really feel for the characters throughout the text. A great summer read, and one on Reese Witherspoon’s book list, so you know it’s good.
